St. David's Spa reopens!
St. David's Park - August 31st 2020
After months of wondering and waiting and regularly refreshing news sites for the latest guidance, we are thrilled to finally announce that August saw the doors of our gorgeous spa reopen.
Throughout lockdown we were contacted on a daily basis by our lovely regulars and new faces wanting to treat themselves and loved ones to some much needed R&R after a period that has been like no other.
Well, we are pleased to say we have welcomed our first customers through the door and our appointment book is looking like normal again.
However, in light of the ongoing crisis we have of course taking many precautions and introduced a host of safety measures to ensure our customers and staff remain safe.
New safety precautions at St. David's Spa
The Spa
We have organised our spa in order to help ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained and we have also reviewed our treatment menu and removed treatments where we felt it necessary to do so.
We have increased cleaning procedures and we can ensure all surfaces throughout the spa will be cleaned regularly and wiped with the appropriate cleaning product between each treatment and client.
Regulars and those that have been with us before will notice new screens have been installed at the reception desks and directional signage is in place to help maintain social distancing.
We are now cashless and only accept card payments only.
Our staff will come to work in their own clothes and change into their uniform on arrival. Therapists will wear disposable aprons, disposable facemasks and face visor. St. David's Spa team members have received additional training to ensure new guidelines regards hygiene and safety are adhered to at all times.
Our Treatment rooms
Each of our therapist will be designated their own treatment room and disposable couch roll will be used on the beds and disposed of after each customer.
Our Customers
All consultation will be done remotely where possible and consultation forms sent digitally.
The day before your appointment a staff member will call and go through a Covid-19 medical questionnaire. Customers must be free of Covid-19 symptoms, not been in contact with anyone with symptoms, or tested positive for Covid-19.
We will provide clear guidance prior to your appointment; customers will be asked to wait in their cars if they arrive early for their appointment. You will be greeted by our receptionist on arrival and there will be clear guidance signage on social distancing and hygiene procedures.
We kindly ask customers to attend appointments on time and unaccompanied, with the minimum of personal possessions.
Customers must wear a face mask for close contact treatments and we ask all customer to use the hand sanitiser provided at the spa entrance before entering the building.
Please note that customers should bring their own refreshments e.g. water.
