Bonfire Night Around Caernarfon
Coed Helen Holiday Park - November 2nd 2016
Remember remember the 5th of November!
It’s that time of the year again where we dig out the woolly hats, scarves and gloves for the first time since last Winter, subdue our whimpering pet dogs and spell out the letters of our name in the air with sparklers… Bonfire night!
How it has come around so quick we do not know!
Depending on the location of your caravan (if you have one on Coed Helen Holiday Park) you will probably be able to see much of the action onsite.
However, if you want to go out and get involved in all of the other activity surrounding the fireworks, here's where to go:
Caernarfon: The obvious choice is the Caernarfon fireworks display right next to Caernarfon Castle on Saturday, November 5 from 7pm. The viewing area is the Slate Quay and Promenade.
Bangor: Slightly further afield is the fireworks Display at Bangor Beach Road, on Saturday, November 5 from 7pm. Hot dog van and stalls. Display is free but donations are welcome. The Pier will also be open for a great viewing point – people regularly flock to the Pier area to gain a good view.
Criccieth: Bonfire and firework display at Dylan's Criccieth on Friday November 4. Fun gets underway at 6.30pm with the lighting of the bonfire with fireworks at 8pm. Hot street food is available along with live music and children's entertainment. Free but donations are encouraged to pay for the fireworks.
