What's on in North Wales: Christmas 2021

It's the most wonderful time of the year! and for many it's already been a snowy start to the festive season... and, yep, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Ok, that's the last of the tired Christmas puns, we promise.
For many holiday home owners across our three beautiful parks, the Christmas season is favourite - well perhaps second to a sunny Summer season in truth - but nevertheless, it's a a period we all look forward to. We have some great Christmas and New Years parties in The Tavern and Molly's and there is always a jolly spirit on Berthlwyd.
We've put together some of the best activities and places to go this year.
Enchanted Lodge at Greenwood Family Park: Saturday 27th November – Sunday 19th December 2021
Greenwood family park, located just outside of Bangor and easily reached from all three parks is putting together a magical experience for the whole family. It's a 2 hour experience which includes a brilliant festive show, home-cooked festive feasts, plus arts and crafts which Santa has sent is elves south to help out with.
And, of course, the main man himself will make an appearance - Father Christmas! He will meet and greet all of North Wales well-behaved children and hand out golden tickets for his onsite toy factory - created especially for the occasion.
Tickets can be booked now" £15 per child and £7 per adult.
Christmas at Bodnant Garden: Saturday 4th December – Wednesday 5th January 2021
A year-round favourite of ours is Bodnant Gardens. Whenever we compile a seasonal "What's on" list like this they always feature - and this this Christmas is no different. Set amongst the award-winning and beautiful grounds of the historic Bodnant Hall and estate is "Percy the Park Keeper's Winter Wander Trail". There is fun activities to take part in along the way - plus wanderers will also play a part in maintaining and conserving nature - win-win!
After the trail it will be time to heat up again and the tea rooms have put on a festive feast just for that!
Zipmas at Zip World, Snowdonia: Monday 29th November – Thursday 24th December 2021
Could this be the countries only underground Santa's grotto? This year Santa has settled on Llechwedd Slate Caverns as the perfect and magical location for his North Wales base, and he's brought his elves along too.
Visitors will receive Christmas gifts; a Welsh slate bauble, which you decorate yourself at the craft station, a lovely idea that will provide you with great memories each year you hang it on the tree. There is also complimentary mince pies, plus hot chocolate or mulled wine if you prefer (we know which we'd choose!)
