FAQs

Common questions about ownership

Can I live in my caravan or lodge permanently?

No. Our parks are licensed for leisure use only. Units cannot be used as a permanent residential address. The season runs March to January and owners use their unit for holidays and weekend breaks throughout that period.

What is included in the site fee?

Site fees cover your pitch licence for the full 10-month season. They include use of communal facilities, grounds maintenance and general site management. Utilities are metered separately or included depending on the park — we confirm this at viewing.

How long can I keep my unit on the park?

Caravan units have a maximum age limit set by the park licence, typically 15 to 20 years depending on the park. Lodges may have different terms. We confirm the exact position for every unit before you purchase.

Can I sell my unit on if I want to?

Yes. You own the unit and can sell it. Sales of units already sited on our parks are handled through us. We can advise on how that process works and what typical resale values look like.

What is the difference between a static caravan and a lodge?

Lodges are larger, built to a higher specification and designed to feel more like a permanent building — timber construction, pitched roofs, full-length windows and more substantial interiors. Static caravans are more compact and lower in cost, but still well-equipped and comfortable. Both are on permanent pitches.
