Conwy holiday accommodation

South Lodge is our beautiful detached holiday home built in 1904 that can sleep 4 people across 2 bedrooms. Originally built as the gardeners lodge for Berthlwyd Hall, South Lodge provides a charming self-catered holiday home in a picturesque countryside setting on the outskirts of the historic walled town of Conwy.

The ideal base for your North Wales holiday

Situated just two miles from the bustling historic town centre of Conwy, South Lodge provides the perfect base to explore the world-renowned area that sees tourists travel from all corners of the globe to visit; sites such as Conwy’s famous medieval castle, cobbled high-street with boutique shops, highly-rated restaurants and traditional pubs.

You will also be fantastically positioned to explore Snowdonia National Park with it’s breath-taking landscapes and huge array of tourist attractions and activities.

The lodge

The lodge itself is as cosy as you’d expect from a period property built in 1902 but with modern feel and a fresh and bright interior. Plus, there’s all the appliances and mod-cons required to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. There is:

  • A fully-equipped kitchen including clothes washing and drying machine
  • Dining room
  • Cosy lounge with log burner
  • Two double bedrooms
  • Large family bathroom
  • Conservatory

Outside, the lodge has a very pleasant private garden with outdoor patios and seating areas set amongst vibrant planting and flowers. There is also a good-sized driveway with private parking.
